Starting tournament

Before starting the tournament, the tournament database has to be cleared using the clear_database.bat script. Following that, the application has to be updated to the newest version with the update.bat script. After this is done, the application has to be started with the run_scrutineerapp.bat script. It is advisable to also run the backup.bat script with a pendrive mounted on the D:\ drive. It will create a directory with the same name as the tournament on D:\ and periodically create a file with copy of the database there in the form of json files. Remote backup or a backup with different parameters is also possible - consult a technician for details.

After the application is running with a cleared database, the scrutineer has to open http://localhost in a web browser to view the initialization form. He has to select the tournament file generated by the club app (one with json extension) and type his first and last name. Following that, he has to press the blue button and wait until the page loads. This process may take up to a few minutes. Scrutineer will be automatically logged into his account upon completion of this process. Following that, he should open the users menu and print the page (ctrl+p) with all login codes to distribute it among tournament staff.

Logging in

To log in, open the main web page, type in the code received from the scrutineer, and click on the login button.
